My name is Jacqui Turnbull. I currently live in Murieston, Livingston, Scotland. I provide a fantastic alternative to kennels with my dog home boarding and grooming services. I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them is my passion. I started as a dog walker and soon added home boarding to my services. I’ve been providing a professional Dog Home Boarding service since 1998 and was trained as a professional dog groomer in 2011. I have owned three dogs, two show-type Cocker Spaniels and a Lhasa Apso. I started K9 Friends to provide a dog boarding service to the people of West Lothian. It was a relatively new concept when I started and was mainly found in England at the time. I thought there were bound to be people like me who needed someone they could trust to look after their dog when they went on holiday. So here I am. I provide an exclusive service, so you can rest assured that only your dogs will be in the salon anytime. A free health check is provided for each dog, not to mention kindness, compassion, understanding and attention to detail provided by an experienced, competent dog lover.

I started my Boarding business in 1998. You can rest assured that your dogs will receive the attention, love, and exercise they need from a very experienced, competent lady while you are on holiday. Make sure you book in plenty of time to avoid disappointment, as I only take four dogs maximum per day, and some periods of the year fill up far in advance. I am Licensed by the West Lothian Council. Our dog Diamond who is a Bernese Mountain Dog, has been going to Jackie for her holidays and for grooming for 3 years now. The best thing for us when we take Diamond is that she gets out of the car and runs straight to Jackie's door, bouncing and wagging her tail! For anyone leaving their dog when they go on holiday, it's a big thing knowing that
your dog is going to be happy and well looked after. Jackie also does a great job of grooming Diamond, she always looks amazing! We will never go anywhere else to get her groomed and have to make sure that there is always a boarding space available before we book a holiday as we wouldn't leave Diamond anywhere else!

We have been using K9 Friends since 2008, as a dog walking service for the 1st 5 or so years and then as a boarding service on an intermittent basis. We were very pleased & happy with the dog walking service & would have continued if it had been possible. Since then we have found the boarding facility extremely useful and the provider has always been most accommodating often taking us at short notice and taking a compassionate view of the circumstances under which we were using and this was greatly appreciated. We have also had the benefit of the grooming service which has been of high quality. In general, we have found the provider professional, helpful and trustworthy. She is very good with the dogs. We have no hesitation in leaving our dogs with her and have recommended her to a friend
